Rooted in Venezuela, carried forward by family, and made by hand in Texas: this is the story behind ChocogladysUSA.

Our roots, our craft, our family

A family passion, born in Venezuela

Our chocolate story began with curiosity, grew through a family handoff, and continues today in small batches made with care.

2005

A chance discovery

Around 2005, Gladys was taking a walk through a park in Venezuela when she came across a seminar on craft chocolate. She was hooked right away. Soon after, she founded Chocogladys, making chocolate the traditional way, straight from the cocoa bean.

From one generation to the next

In 2019, Gladys moved to Houston, Texas, and passed her craft on to her daughter-in-law, Neyla. She taught her how to process cocoa beans and make real chocolate: 100% natural, with no additives, no vegetable oils, and no substitutes. In 2020, Neyla used that knowledge to start ChocogladysUSA.

Rooted in Venezuela, inspired by the world

Our first cocoa beans came from different regions of Venezuela. Today we also work with beans from Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Africa, each bringing its own character to our chocolate.

By hand

Small batch, made by hand

Our process is fully craft, not industrial. Every batch is small and made by hand, with care at every step. We started with dark chocolate because our goal was a healthy, honest chocolate bar. Later we added milk and white chocolate. Every product and flavor we offer comes from our own research and development.

Growing with our community

We first shared our chocolate at the Fulshear Farmers Market with families from Katy, Richmond, Fulshear, and Rosenberg. In 2025, ChocogladysUSA became an LLC. Our promise is still the same: small batches, great flavor, 100% real cocoa, and nothing artificial.
